Here is a angle you don't see very often. The 96m qualifying 8-30-2014 at the legendary Fairbury American Legion Speedway

Cool video. You may want to air up that LF tire a bit or try a stiffer sidewall. Quite a bit of deflection..... LOL

Its hard to get that LF to work at all. I was happy to keep it on the ground and see it do some work, especially at this place where he barely lifts at all.

Pretty neat… My first trip to that track was in the mid-50's when my brother farmed in the area and my family would travel by train to visit every summer.
My brother had eight kids… five boys IIRC and they all loved racing. So we'd pile into my brothers '54 Olds and drive over on a Saturday night. I have tried many times over the years to make it back while I was on the road… never quite got there on the right night.
This past summer I flew out to LA to pick up a Ford F-350 that I use around here for towing, hauling scrap, etc. I bought small, inexpensive Go-Pro knock-off camera to document the trip. I screwed up and didn't buy a large enough memory card so I wound up using it as a still camera.
I paid $48.00 for that camera plus shipping from Amazon… we mounted it on my kid's midwest mod when he made his solo appearance at Ashland, WI this past season. Now I'm going to but a couple more to mount on my Super Stock for next season. While junking out a few engines the last two weeks I found some great camera mounts… they are called piston pins. I'll weld them to various parts of the car and use the handlebar mounts that came with the camera...

I managed to break a go pro mount and it took the safety strap with it. Found the case and camera but the sd card had popped out. Found the sd card the next day just out of the groove. Definitely looking into better mounts for next year.
