Okay so I was told the super stock I have in my shop had an early 70's Impala front stub… can't be because they used a strut type suspension until '76.
Then I was told all of these car use a Camaro front stub… not sure on that either. The old stock upper a arm mounts look Camaro and are the correct distance between mounting bolts… the confusion comes when I try to bolt on the center link that iI got with the chassis… it seems to be too wide. Might be a metric Impala?
Then I'm putting the front end back together on my metric street stock… and I can't find the steering parts for THAT car…
Pulling my hair out right now!

Well I think this thing is a Camaro… even though the 'blueprints' I've found aren't exactly giving me the same dimensions I measured… this car is an old warhorse so anything's possible. I have the local frame guy making some free time to put it on him frame machine and we'll do a little measuring to see what we have here.
And it also looks like the center link I have is correct after all… now to get the steering box bolted on, the upper a arms in place and some spindles bolted on… all in good time I guess.

Bingo… found the street stock parts so that's a good thing. While I was at it I got the rest of the parts inside the shop that go with the car… wheels/tires, fuel cell and container, sway bar, shocks… now all I need is a buyer.
